As part of their transition to a completely customer-centric organisation, Westpac New Zealand needed clarity in understanding their true purpose and then communicating this across the business. Their compelling purpose and 'why' was developed and then brought to life with an engagement campaign through a four staged approach.

The four stages to engage staff with the purpose were Excite, Enable, Enhance & Embed.
Stage one was to create excitement and anticipation for the launch, followed by Stage two which enabled staff with tools to live the purpose. Stage three enhanced the experience through ongoing seminars while Stage four aimed to embed the purpose into everyday life.
